The company must have a company archive

A company archive is an organizational unit in an office, institution, enterprise or social organization that deals with taking over archival materials (cat. A) and non-archival documentation (cat. B, BE, Bc) that is not needed for current office (activities) and their temporary storage, recording, sharing, missing and transferring materials that deserve permanent storage to the appropriate state archives
Pursuant to the provisions of the Act of July 14, 1983 on the National Archives Resource and Archives, company archives are established only in those organizational units that produce archival materials (category A files). Under this Act, such units are subject to archival supervision of relevant state archives.
In organizational units that do not produce archival materials, non-archival documentation is stored in file stores. However, the rules governing the storage of files differ from those applicable to plant archives. Company archives in central units and institutions are appointed by the Chief Director of State Archives, while in other units they are appointed by directors of relevant state archives.
The company's archive is aimed at collecting all documentation in the institution (after the storage time specified in the office instructions has elapsed in the appropriate organizational unit), regardless of which archival category it has been classified in. The unique technical documentation has been qualified as archival materials of historical value.
The company archive has two functions: it relieves individual organizational units from documentation that is no longer needed for current office, but whose mandatory storage has not yet expired, and protects and stores, and if necessary organizes, archival materials that are to be sent after 25 or more years to the state archives.

The largest ever order

The largest ever order

The prestigious project houses more than 7 million British Columbia artifacts and archives. The new Collections and Research Building (CRB) is scheduled to open in 2026. The CRB will house one of Canada's most important historical collections and is set to become a major attraction. Almost half of the total area of 15,000 m² will be equipped.

The current museum, founded in 1886, attracts millions of visitors every year. The value of the project exceeds EUR 18 million, making it one of the largest orders in history. Notably, this project is one of the first to use low carbon steel.

Distributor of Excellence 2022 Award

We are very pleased to announce that the Międzynarodowe Centrum Budownictwa has won the prestigious Distributor of Excellence 2022 Award from Bruynzeel Storage Systems.

This is a great recognition for us from among the many distributors of Compactus® and Sysco® series shelving around the world. We would like to thank to our partner Bruynzeel Storage System very much for this award.

Mainly, however, we want to thank Our Customers, without whom such a great distinction would not be possible to achieve. We would like to thank you for your trust and the very large number of orders. It is very important to us in the context of completed projects as well as future ones. We hope that the trends set by the previous year will continue, and we will continue to materialize projects for the arrangement of electric and manual sliding racks.

How to equip a museum with sliding shelves?

How to equip a museum with sliding shelves?

Design of equipment for the agricultural museum the name of priest Krzysztof Kluk in Ciechanowiec required a lot of sophisticated and non-standard accessories, such as drawers, compartments, shelves with increased durability, clothes rails, rollers (rolls) for maps, etc. The company Międzynarodowe Centrum Budownictwa Sp. z o.o. from Warsaw, specializes in the implementation of museum furnishings so that each object can be properly stored. We care about the quality and functionality of workmanship, which makes using our electric shelves with our accessories a pure pleasure.

Advantages of equipping the museum with our accessories and electric shelving system:

  • ventilation mode (shelves automatically fall apart during a longer break, which will improve air circulation)
  • wide range of accessories
  • a very large selection of shelf sizes
  • rollers (rolls) for maps, pictures, engravings weighing less than a few kilograms!
  • drawers with a height and width adjusted to the customer's needs
  • possibility of using drawers with perforation for better ventilation of stored objects (e.g. numismatic items)
  • load capacity of one rack section up to 800 kg!
  • low energy consumption
  • inter-rack lighting

New solutions for warehouses

New solutions for warehouses

We are expanding our offer with a new solution for warehouses that combine the design and functionality of electric drive systems and highly durable warehouse racks.

Electrically powered sliding racks are a dynamic solution that can double the load capacity of the warehouse within the existing space compared to standard pallet racks.

The combination of electric rack chassis and sides and beams / shelves of pallet racks allows for the storage of pallets, optimizing the cost and storage space.

Technical parameters of the racks:

Height [mm] Lenght [mm] Depth [mm] Load capacities
From 1750 to 4500

Protection of cultural heritage in Ukraine

Protection of cultural heritage in Ukraine

The state of emergency in Ukraine requires solidarity and support from us.

As part of the help in the evacuation of collections from areas endangered by war, we have delivered mobile and stationary racks to warehouses in our eastern neighbor to:

  • The National Museum in Lviv named after Andrzej Szeptycki
  • Memorial Museum of Totalitarian Regimes
  • Lviv National Scientific Library of Ukraine Vasyl Stefanyk

This is to protect monuments and cultural heritage in Ukraine.

Electric rollers

Electric rollers

The rollers are driven by an electric motor. The average speed of descent and entry of the fights is 5 cm / s. They run on specially profiled treadmills that are adjusted to the storage height (up to 4 meters).

As standard, they are powder coated with epoxy paint in RAL9002 color. Painting takes place after all holes and technological bends are made. In order to provide better anti-corrosion protection, the steel sheet is protected with a phosphate coating with a thickness of min 500 mg / m2.

They are controlled by a special remote control.

Visual safety

Visual safety

The new standard in safety

In November 2020, we introduced a new solution that guarantees the full security of the electric drive racking system. The cameras are ideal for museums, archives, warehouses, etc. with increased safety standards for stored facilities.

Entry detection

The passive infrared (PIR) technology in our modern system detects a person entering an open passage. The combination of the camera with our LED inter-rack lighting system ensures that the open corridor is used as long as the lights are on. Detection of entry allows the system to know if someone will enter a closing corridor and stop the movement of the system, further increasing the safety of users.

Person or object detection

The automatic slide safety system takes a picture of the open and empty passage. Whenever someone wants to close a doorway, the system compares the actual situation with the saved image of an empty doorway. If people or objects (larger than A5 or 300 cm2) are detected in the doorway, the door will not be closed and it will return to the passive safety procedure (system movement is stopped and the "eye" icon is displayed on both sides of the door. The user must press both " eyes ", one by one while looking at the open passage. This visual safety ensures that the user looks into the passage and makes sure that he can pass the mobile rack)

GDPR compliant

Our automatic slide safety system is GDPR compliant, only storing an image of an empty transition. The processing of images of the empty transition and the current situation between the rack is done directly in the camera, at the moment, it is not possible to download or export the image.

Remote Control app

Remote Control app

The new Dynamic II Remote Control App, available for IOS and Android, gives users the ability to open the desired corridor by remotely operating Compactus® Dynamic II mobile storage systems. Multiple systems can be linked together to form a single unit for easy operation with the Dynamic II Remote Control App.

Advanced safety features such as photocells and the all-new Safety Master keep users and livestock safe.

To optimize the pick-up and return processes, Dynamic II Remote Control includes an inventory system:

  • Assign inventory on each side of the corridor;
  • View inventory in the hallway;
  • Search for objects using keywords, find and open the correct corridor.

Roland van der Velden, Innovation Manager at Bruynzeel Storage Systems: “Using your own intelligent system control device also has hygienic advantages. Combined with our unparalleled security systems, we provide customers with the most secure storage solutions on the market".
